National Pig Day
Today is National Pig Day. It is a day when the pigs revolt, run free and take over the world. Or so I wish. Instead, restaurants across the country will take it as an opportunity to celebrate pigs by eating them. Honor fail.
I’m celebrating Sally. She is an adorbs 4-mos-old piglet who rescued herself from some jerkwad’s evil celebration of “National Pig Day”. She just broke out and was captured by police who transferred the cute pig to a local shelter. And then they called us, and I took the call, and was all YES PIGLET PLEASE! Except I had to go through the proper channels first. Once I did, THEN I said YES PIGLET PLEASE.
Sally will live out her life at Animal Place, because that is how we roll. Obey the pig. Honor the pig. Celebrate the pig. Just don’t eat the pig.

Welcome home — and into our hearts, Little Miss Break Out of Prison Sally.
That National Pig Day article you linked us to is so full of cognitive dissonance it’s off the charts, Marji. Unreal!
Thanks to you, I not only get to meet a new friend (Sally), but also learn some new words:
~ adorbs (a nice one)
~ jerkwad (a not-so-nice one)
~ Honor fail (what does THAT mean?)
~ tilty (what do you mean? the ground is on an incline? or she’s wobbly on her feet?)
All smiles.
I love that “yin/yang” thing she’s got going on on her nose! And four white stockings – Yeah, I say she’s quite a lovely gal! <3 Thank you for giving Sally the home and respect she deserves!
