Thanks, MJ.
Oxfam irks me. I know of only Vegfam and FFLG, but will delve further into the lists. I do know that several Hindu & Buddhist based orgs serve vegetarian (and maybe vegan) food, but food isn't their focus.

Hi Corvus, and thanks for the link.

With regard to "fast tracking," the original intent of that concept was for adoptions that had already been approved. The idea was to fast track the process by which the adoptive parents could bring the children to whatever country they reside in. I agree that any other fast tracking (i.e., through the process for new applicants) is undesirable and more important, Haiti is not allowing it, as it shouldn't for numerous valid reasons, many of which are in the comments of the post.

Vegfam (http://www.vegfamcharity.org.uk/) feeds hungry people around the world, without exploiting any animals. They also provide emergency relief in a crisis. The founders created the organization because they weren't comfortable with the animal use of Oxfam. I haven't had a chance to check if they're helping the people of Haiti. Their current list of projects tends to lag a bit. They are a small group, too. Though they have been around since 1963 helping communities grow sustainable crops and work on clean water projects.

I was just wondering if you know of any other vegan organizations similar to Vegfam or Food for Life Global.
