As of 1/24, vegan bake sales have raised $13,824 for the relief efforts in Haiti.

The vegan community is really coming together to help both human and nonhuman victims of the massive Haiti earthquake. You can participate in a number of ways, from your purchasing habits to whipping up some cupcakes for a vegan bake sale. Check out how vegans are helping out and join up. Put you compassion into action.

This list will be updated as often as is necessary. If you know of any group holding a vegan fundraiser to help Haiti, post in the comments!

As of 1/24, vegan bake sales have raised $13,824 for the relief efforts in Haiti.

1/24: Vegan bake sale in Austin raised $720 for Food for Life Global; DC Vegans raised $400; Nebraska vegans raised $410 for Mercy Corps; Pennsylvania vegans raised about $1,600

1/23: Vegan bake sale in Sacramento raised $1,600 for Food for Life Global. Vegan bake sale in San Francisco raised $3,300 for Partners in Health and Food for Life Global; Akron raised $1674 for Doctors without Borders, Santa Cruz raised $1,800; UK folks raised about $520

1/16: Vegan bake sale in Philadelphia raised $600 for Partners in Health
Vegan bake sale in Sacramento raised $1,200 for Red Cross & Haiti Relief & Development

Herbivore and Ink Brigade are selling a t-shirt, “I love Haiti” in which all the proceeds benefit the relief efforts. Each shirt is $18. Buy your shirt now!

The Chic Life is hosting an online bake sale – there are a lot of vegan baked goods available, but not all are vegan. Bidding will occur January 27th.

    Thanks for putting all of this info in one spot! I am so moved and excited by the way the vegan community has come together to try to do something productive in the face of the disaster in Haiti. Let’s keep the momentum going and get some real help their way!
